We reveal a few of the key looks storming the catwalks, and how to achieve them at home
The S/S 2016 shows gave us a glimpse of what's set to be big on the beauty scene this year. Here we reveal a few of the key looks storming the catwalks, and how to achieve them at home:

Dark lips
When it comes to your pout, the darker the shade the better, as seen on the Topshop Unique catwalk. Matte lipsticks are heavily pigmented, so opt for those finishes for a truly intense hue.
01 Prime lips by exfoliating with a toothbrush to remove flaky skin, leaving them soft and smooth
02 Apply a small amount of lip balm to moisturise the lips
03 Blot the excess balm with some tissue paper
04 Apply the lipstick with a steady hand
05 Blot once more to seal the colour
Bed hair
Fashion designer Holly Fulton showed us bed hair — but not as we know it. Rather than messy, it was a glossy interpretation.
01 Apply TIGI Bed Head Joyride through damp hair
02 Apply TIGI Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray to the roots
03 Blow dry on a medium heat
04 Run Mark Hill Salon Results Straightener through hair
05 Gently back-comb parts of the roots and crown, finishing with TIGI S-Factor Vivacious Hairspray
Posh ponie
Everyone's favourite fuss-free hairstyle gets a glamorous makeover: make like the models at JW Anderson with this twisted version.
01 Wash hair using Catwalk by Tigi Headshot shampoo
02 Blow dry hair using the Mark Hill Speed Dryer
03 Brush hair off face, securing with a hair elastic
04 Separate ponytail into two sections
05 Twist the sections around each other and tie at the end with a hair elastic
Nailed it
Rainbow-dipped nails reveal a flash of personality and have the ability to perk up any ensemble. Seen at Fyodor Golan and Sibling, this year is all about a French-style manicure — with attitude.
01 Clean and prime nails by filing and buffing
02 Paint nails using Orly Color Amp'd City of Angels
03 After the first coat is dry, use masking tape to section off the tips
04 Paint tips in Orly Color Amp'd Sunset Strip
05 When dry, remove tape and finish with a topcoat
Cobalt eyes
Cobalt eyes are making a comeback. Steeped in secondary school rebellion, this look is all about a bold, blue haze.
01 Prep eyelids with eyeshadow primer
02 Line the inner eye with black kohl liner
03 Blend in a lighter blue cobalt shadow up to the socket line
04 Use a darker cobalt shadow to define outer corner of eye
05 Finish with a subtle lick of mascara
