Newest on the scene in St. Moritz, this five-star resort — whose main building was first mentioned in records from 1718 — is a cluster of seven different Engadin houses. Inside, the hotel is finished with natural stone and regionally sourced woods, as well as elegant fabrics from Italy and icicle-shaped lights, to effortlessly tie in with the Upper Engadin landscape.

During the renovations, the basic historical structure of the buildings was successfully retained, seen in the characterful wooden ceilings and panels and typical corner benches in Stüva — one of the hotel’s three restaurants. Mythical creatures are depicted in white and gold in the former chapel, which today houses the two-Michelin-starred Ecco St Moritz restaurant.
The hotel also offers a lounge with a large fireplace, an indoor pool, saunas, relaxation areas, a gym and a spa with eight treatment rooms.
