The family-run Hotel Juliani was recently expanded to include a trio of new Designer Suites, a private fitness centre and a business hub within the oldest part of its historic structure. Careful attention was paid to maintain original architectural features, including traditional blue Maltese balconies overlooking the sea. New for 2016, Hotel Juliani has refurbished its rooftop pool and terrace: perched atop cosmopolitan St Julians, this space offers undisturbed sea views and the perfect spot to unwind after a day of work or play.

Arguably the most memorable aspect of Hotel Juliani is its personalised approach. Staff take pride in getting to know each guest and their preferences, giving them insider tips on the best places to visit, from harbour-side restaurants to historic clifftop sites. For something a little further afield, award-winning Asian fusion restaurant, Zest, takes diners on a culinary journey from Singapore to Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Mediterranean.
