The fishing village of Jimbaran is situated south of buzzy Kuta on a crescent of white powdery sand edged by lush forest. Overlooking the craggy Bukit Peninsula on Jimbaran Beach, The Leaf Jimbaran is designed to work in harmony with its natural surroundings: featuring open-air structures, with al fresco bath tubs and sliding glass doors that allow guests to slip straight into the pools. A butler and chef are also on hand.

The key concept at The Leaf Jimbaran is to boost the healthy living experience so each guest will feel relaxed and recharged. This includes the Sweet Dreams specialised pillow programme, alongside daily guest ‘how-to’ activities, from growing herbs, making jamu (traditional herbal medicine), canang offerings and colourful garlands, to simple fruit-carving demonstrations and pencak silat martial arts classes.

There’s also the opportunity to take part in a myriad of health and wellbeing experiences, including mindful meditation, sunrise yoga, nutritious cooking classes, self-massage lessons, a Balinese blessing ceremony and chakra-healing sessions to free energy blockages.

To wrap up the full wellness package, guests can join a three-night Healing Journey, which focuses on learning how to clear the mind, relax and embrace silence.

Therapies at the Thyme Spa focus on an ‘East meets West’ concept, using EviDenS De Beaute skincare products and a Thalion marine thalassotherapy range. Hidden behind a veil of tropical foliage, the three treatment rooms feature a private whirlpool bath and an open-air rain shower.

Guests can refuel at Sattvic Restaurant, where celebrity chef Daniel Green rustles up creative Asian-fusion dishes. The concept of Sattvic is based around the Paleo diet, which focuses on maximising raw food and minimising carbohydrates and fats. Upstairs, the resort’s Cilantro Rooftop Bar & Lounge offers healthy tapas and colourful cocktails.

Three private event venues are also available, from the cosy Rosemary villa to a skylit rooftop.
