A gem of genuine art deco architecture, the Art Deco Imperial Hotel provides exclusive accommodation and superior services to both business and leisure travellers visiting the historic Czech capital. Combining the latest technology and modern conveniences with fabulous original art deco and art nouveau interiors, the hotel has 126 elegant rooms and suites with marble bathrooms, walk-in showers and luxury toiletries.

Dating from 1914, the timeless elegance of the hotel’s unique historic building has been admired by generations of loyal guests. The project to design and open the hotel was overseen by Jaroslav Benedict’s architectural consultancy, and the building’s construction combines three architectural styles — art deco, art nouveau and cubism. The whole building is now listed as a Czech National Monument.

As well as first-class accommodation, the hotel also offers conference facilities, excellent food and drink in Cafe Imperial, fitness and wellness facilities, as well as a Mercedes-Benz limousine service and concierge services to help guests get the most out of their stay.

Cafe Imperial has been a famous and popular cafe and restaurant in Prague for the past 100 years. It’s played host to the likes of author Franz Kafka, composer Leos Janacek and many other eminent guests. The original art nouveau ceramic wall tiles and mosaic ceiling are breathtaking, crowned by large windows.

Cafe Imperial’s culinary offering is overseen by celebrity chef Zdenek Pohlreich, a regular figure on Czech television. His inventive menu features traditional Czech cuisine with a modern twist, complemented by international classics. Among the signature dishes are braised veal cheeks, braised lamb shank and Imperial cake.

Located in the charming, UNESCO-protected Prague city centre — on a corner opposite the Archa Theatre — the hotel is an ideal base, whether guests come to the Czech capital for business, sightseeing in the picturesque Old Town, high street shopping or exploring Prague’s exciting nightlife.
