Situated in the heart of the Czech Republic’s historic capital, The Grand Mark Prague is a baroque boutique hotel that offers more than just luxury accommodation. Upon entering the hotel, guests are greeted by an atmospheric mix of historic architecture tastefully combined with modern art.

The hotel’s crowning glory is its expansive private garden, with flower displays, herb garden beds and a stunning baroque fountain that dates back to the 15th century — it’s the ideal setting for memorable and picturesque wedding ceremonies and special events.

The 78 rooms and suites are spacious, with those on the upper floor featuring balconies or private terraces. Among the room facilities are Nespresso coffee machines and Floris of London toiletries. For business travellers, there’s a conservatory with a garden view; a bright, airy lobby that can be converted into a conference area; a private meeting space in the Presidential Suite on the seventh floor with a breathtaking view of the city; and a peaceful garden area.

As part of an extensive programme of renovations, the hotel’s new spa and fitness facilities opened in summer 2017. Among the new additions are a spacious whirlpool bath, saunas and massage rooms.

Those travellers keen to stay in shape during their stay can head straight to the bright and airy fitness studio; it features a range of equipment for stretching and strengthening the whole body, and is open around the clock. For cycling enthusiasts, the hotel offers free bike rental — the perfect way to get around the city and see its many attractions — each complete with a picnic basket and cycling maps.

Hotel restaurant Le Grill is a gastronomic delight. Recommended by the Michelin Guide, it uses only fresh seasonal and local produce, and offers culinary specialities throughout the year. Every month, food lovers can savour a new menu, and on summer evenings, barbecues with live music are hosted in the garden. Every afternoon, traditional English tea is served under the glass ceiling of the stylish lobby lounge.
