In the early 20th century, Saint-Tropez was a small fishing village. Within a few decades, it had become a legend — the playground of jet-setting stars from all over the world.

The Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez has been totally redesigned just recently. It’s contemporary and cutting-edge in style, and is right in the heart of the action, near the town’s exclusive boutiques, fashionable hotspots and nightclubs. Designed by the famous architect François Vieillecroze, and decorated by interior designer Sybille de Margerie, the hotel has 52 rooms and 38 suites.

De Margerie has played on designs from the 1960s and 70s in these rooms and suites, with wide stripes of vivid colour, flowers and large wicker chairs, with furniture by famous designers, from Florence Knoll to Vladimir Kagan.

In homage to all the artists who’ve called Saint- Tropez home — from Henri Matisse to Pierre Bonnard and André Dunoyer de Ségonzac — the hotel showcases contemporary artists in year-round exhibitions featuring major names and young talent alike.

Guests can enjoy the views from the rooftop, with panoramic vistas of the village and the sea.

Food lovers can savour local Mediterranean cuisine for lunch and dinner at the rooftop restaurant, Les Toits, which welcomes guests all day long with a menu of tasty local fare that can also be eaten by the pool, or in the superb Bay View room. The hotel also has two stylish bars, Les Toits lounge and l’Atrium.

Major events, such as weddings, seminars, product launches and cocktail parties, can be catered for in 3,660sq ft of multifunctional and flexible meeting and event spaces. These rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and can hold up to 350 people.

When it’s time to indulge and unwind, the Spa By Clarins awaits. The spa has five treatment cabins, a sensorial shower, sauna, Turkish bath and ice fountain. For guests who want to be a little more active, the choice of exercise options in the fitness room includes cardio training and bodybuilding with the Kinesis system by Technogym.
