Nestled between the Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia, the landscape surrounding the Hôtel & Spa des Pêcheurs is unique; fine white sandy beaches lead down to clear turquoise waters while smooth granite rocks act as guardians to this oasis of calm.

The island of Cavallo is without doubt a hidden gem in the Mediterranean, with only one hotel on the entire island. Built in stone from the island, the resort blends beautifully into its surrounds. The 50 elegant rooms and suites are decorated in varying shades of blue, white and beige, reflecting the colours of the sea, sky and rocks. The majority of the rooms have a terrace or balcony, providing the perfect spot from which to take in the expansive sea views.

The atmosphere is one of relaxed luxury. Guests have access to the hotel’s private beach, which offers its own bar, and can take advantage of the tennis courts and swimming pool if they wish to engage in something a little more strenuous than simply sunbathing. There’s also the option to undertake sea excursions, diving, snorkelling, golf and island outings, such as a trip to the port of Cavallo.

The serene spa has an indoor thalassotherapy pool and a full range of beauty and wellness treatments. With a holistic approach, the spa offers the possibility to retune and recharge mind, body and soul. Whether it be a yoga lesson with the sea breeze blowing away tensions or a romantic outdoor couple’s massage at sunset, the hotel’s spa is always ready to help create the perfect space of serenity and peace.

To enrich the experience further, the hotel’s restaurant is ready to delight guests’ palates with Mediterranean ingredients, fresh fish and an extensive wine list, which includes a great selection of regional Corsican wines. At night, sit on the terrace of the Shore Club, the restaurant on the beach, and enjoy the lights creating dancing shadows on the rocks next to the water while eating a delicious plate of grilled fish and meat.

The island life concept of Cavallo allows guests to unplug from the stresses of daily routines and to escape from the tiring rhythms of city life.
