Another UNESCO Heritage Site, China's Grand Canal runs from Beijing to Hangzhou. It is both the longest and oldest man-made canal in the world, dating back over 2,500 years. At the southern end of the canal lies Gongchen Bridge, a spot surrounded by museums and restaurants.
