A hiker treks past Cerro Torre, the tallest of the peaks in the Southern Patagonia Ice Fields. The mountains are incredibly difficult to climb, and their region is a matter of dispute between Chile and Argentina.

In northern Italy, fog surrounds the earth pyramids of Platten. Over many years, erosion has formed these spires, leaving mismatching boulders on top.
