A group of emperor penguin chicks in Antarctica huddle together while they wait for their parents to return with food. In this instance, they're using a block of ice to shield them from the wind.

A hairy frogfish gapes at an underwater camera. “Despite having a hairy appearance the 'hairs' are actually skin appendages or spinules which cover the frogfish’s body, head and fins," explains Your Shot photographer Nadia Aly. The appendages help the fish blend in to its surroundings.
