Robert Ormerod

Kennedy Space Center docent Walter Starkey, 81, is a U.S. Air Force veteran who worked on the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, and Space Shuttle programs. He has seen more than 200 launches and still volunteers for each one. “If I’m lucky,” he says, “I’ll see them walk on the moon again.”
