Your Shot photographer Zhayynn James documented this lion cub from the Marsh pride in the Ndutu Conservation Area. He writes, "this little one marked itself as a future leader, fearless and leading from the front."
"This spot-billed pelican that lives along the the Kaveri river, at the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary demonstrates a very interesting way of getting a drink," writes Your Shot photographer Zhayynn James. "It flew low with its bill open and skimmed the surface with the lower bill. The rush of water into its bill pouch, then it snaps its head and neck back and then it straightens up and flies off."
