"First time visit to Mandalay and we were very lucky. We went to this mountain in the early morning and had no idea what would happen—sunrise—from blue sky to red and then amazing golden sunlight appeared."

"Shot in Jaipur during the golden hour of the day. It is easy to see why locals call this the 'Pink City of India.' The soft rays cast from the late afternoon sun permeates every corner of the city, bringing out all shades of red and pink from within. As a taxi pierces through the thick fog of dust particles left behind by other passing cars, it gives off a mesmerising, yet mysterious feel, to this shot."

"I found this solitary flamingo digging deep in the shallow waters for the feed as the sun peaked from the horizon. From a distance the scene was magical as though the flamingo was mining gold."

"Sunset over the city of angels. Shot behind the hollywood sign. I couldn't use my tripod for this shot, as the fences behind the sign were too high, so I had to hand-hold my camera above the fence, hoping to get the shot I wanted. After a few tries and a few seconds of good light, I got the shot I wanted."

"I took this Photo on a super spontaneous trip to the Lofoten Islands last September. I spent a semester abroad in Karlstad, Sweden. A friend showed me a picture of the Lofoten Islands and we were like 'Let's do this!' We borrowed a tent, took the mattresses of our beds, bought some soup and super cheap sleeping bags, refuelled the car and left one day later. We didn't have a plan, equipment, or experience in wild camping. We just had a destination. Reckless, but this trip blew my mind and changed my life forever."

"At 3:36 p.m. in Ginza, Tokyo, the temperature was 26.8°C. I raised my camera to record the sun shining through the icy building and the people who wandered around."

"This image is the newest addition to my Dronie (Drone Selfie) series. We visited Vestrahorn last year but I couldn't fly my drone due to bad weather. I knew I had to come back again to this place to get an aerial perspective of this beautiful landscape. We visited again this year in March and luckily the weather cooperated as well. With the help of a drone, I tried get a unique perspective of this beautiful landscape. We are already planning our next trip as we are in love with Iceland."

"Young elephant bulls generally get into friendly tussle early in their life, which helps them determine their social structure and survival tactics. I saw these two bulls roaming around and getting into a friendly banter, with the pleasing setting sun casting golden hues everywhere. Conventional wisdom suggested being on the right side of the light, but here I took a bit of creative liberty to shoot against the light to frame my image, as I had envisioned."

"I took this photo during a beautiful sunset in Iceland after walking a few miles to get to this ice cave. There was a small group of us and our guide showed us how they rappel into new areas to check forming ice caves each year."

"I never owned a camera until I was 26. Visiting National Parks of Utah motivated me to get one and start taking pictures. I remember Zion National Park was the first park I ever visited and I kept going back to this place over and over again. Still lot to explore in this vast wilderness. One day I will get over my fear of water to attempt the Narrows. Until then, mountains it is. Caught the sunset here while hiking the Emerald Lakes trail. The tiniest peak in the frame belongs to the Watchman."

"The town of Cadiz, Spain seen from above is as fascinating as it is from ground level: charming streets, narrow alleys, beautiful architecture, fun markets, people, and glorious churches. It has got it all. Go visit and get lost for a while. :) Photographed from a plane during the golden hour."

"I headed to this lake in Wyoming at around 4 am to ensure a spot for the solar eclipse this past august. temperatures bottomed out around 31 degrees, creating fog rising from the warmer lake water. despite the cold temperatures a kayaker ventured into the lake for a morning paddle. his presence added a beautiful human element to this scene."

"Rock climbing places around the world: Some are in the forest or in remote mountains. Hong Kong's Lion Rock is in the center of the city. This is unique to Hong Kong."

"Husfjell, Senja, Norway. After hours of hiking through the snow, we finally got to the top. Views like these are the best kind of reward one could wish for at the end of a hike. After an amazing, late arctic sunset, we set up our tent and even got to see some Northern lights. This photo depicts my favourite moment of a recent trip through northern Norway, which I got to share with one of my best friends."

"This was an early morning with the most beautiful sunrise at St. Andrews Bay, South Georgia Island. Two King penguins posing between me and the most colourful sunrise I have ever seen. I am happy that I captured this moment, so it will forever stay in my mind—a once in a lifetime experience for sure."

"I decided to take a cross country trip by myself and it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Seeing our country and how much it has to offer was truly something magical. This was the town of Sausalito, California being overwhelmed by fog. It was amazing to watch from above. This was taken with a drone."
