Neil's Harbour is a small fishing village on the northwestern coast of Cape Breton. Housing approximately 300 residents who work in the lobster industry, the area is great to have a meal at the Chowder House, eating on picnic tables overlooking the harbour.
When visiting Cape Breton, one of the must-dos is to attend a ceilidh (pronounced Kay-lee), the traditional social gathering involving folk music and dancing.
