It's been a long-time dream to photograph the leg rowing fisherman in Inle Lake, Myanmar. "Early in the morning as the sky started getting brighter many fishermen started coming out from different directions," Mangalika writes. "I made photo this after sunrise as the directional light was illuminating this minimalist scene with just two men at work and their reflections."

"In cold weather bees cluster very closely together," writes Your Shot photographer Brenda Snape. "When this weather persists for long periods of time, they eat all the food that’s close to them and are unable to break that tight cluster, resulting in the bees starving. With an extreme cold March this year are they going to have enough honey stored to feed them?"

"One of my favorite scenes to watch, play over and over again, different every time, is sunrise over the eastern Sierras," writes Your Shot photographer Kimberly Coates. "As the sun slowly peeks over the horizon, the light first touches the tips of the mountain and then gradually crawls down to the valleys below."

"My friends and I decided to do a day hike to first lake at Big Pines California. On our trek back, darkness came really fast," writes Your Shot photographer Trieu Nguyen. "About 2 miles from the trailhead parking we found the cabins that were buried almost half way deep in the snow. As my friend reached for the half buried door, I saw an image in my head that reminded me of a Norman Rockwell illustration, so I created it!"
