Pucker Up With These Photos of Sweet Smooches

By Becky Little

On June 30, Daily Show host Trevor Noah noted that it was National Handshake Day. (He then joked that it was “also National Knowing About Fake Holidays Day.”) Anyone disappointed by the lack of intimacy that a simple handshake conveys will be happy to know that July 6 is International Kissing Day. (Time recently dug into the origins of holidays like this, such as National Splurge Day and National Onion Ring Day.)

Since International Kissing Day comes but once a year—unless you count National Kissing Day on June 24—we’ve compiled these photos of smooches from our archives to help you celebrate it right.
