FEED YOUR NEED for heavenly views of the universe with our picks of the most awe-inspiring space pictures from November 2018.

This month, the talented photographers from our Your Shot community captured colourful auroras from Alaska to Iceland, as well as beautiful views of starscapes as seen from national parks here on Earth. Elsewhere, NASA’s InSight Mars lander captured its first photographs of itself on the red planet plains of Elysium Planitia, and the Hubble Space Telescope sent back glimmering views of thick star clusters bound together by gravity.
