An Evening of Meat. This immersive dining experience involves eating a delicious six-course feast that's heavy on the meat (veggie options available), while a feminist interpretive dance performance takes place on the table. It'll make you uncomfortable and make you question how we look at women's bodies, as well as leaving you with a very full stomach. Food for thought. The Vaults, London, until 2 June. Crab, Sri Lankan style. I never would have believed a three-course menu comprised almost entirely from crab dishes could be satisfying — but chef Muni Darshan (from Colombo's Ministry of Crab) proved me wrong. His pop-up stint at the Shangri-La at the Shard London provided me with one of the most wonderfully messy meals I've ever eaten. Glen Mutel, editor

Good chocolate. Rich, 65%, coconut-and-almond-flecked chocolate by MIA, to be precise. It's very good. It strives to do good, too. It's wholly made in Africa (MIA, get it?) and 1% of all sales are donated to development projects across the continent. Josephine Price, online editor

Top 3: Tastes of the Netherlands
What I nibbled and drank in Business Premier, on Eurostar's maiden direct service from London St Pancras to Amsterdam — all courtesy of culinary director, Raymond Blanc.

1 // Cognac & Tonic
Only when travelling can you really get away with an early-morning shot of booze, and cognac fits the bill as an ideal anytime spirit. On the new Eurostar service, you're encouraged to mix it with Double Dutch tonic — a surprising combination, but one that works a bit too well.

2 // Mature Gouda
But what to nibble with your C&T? A three-year old Gouda cheese, of course. Nothing could be more Dutch, and that sharp yet creamy-sweet taste will stay with you all the way to Amsterdam.

3 // Dutch chocolate
Finish with a small box of something sweet, courtesy of chocolatier Van Soest-Amsterdam. Or, if it's not too early, maybe just another small nip of cognac? Glen Mutel, editor
