Exclusivity and privacy are the defining characteristics of the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz, which opens for the winter season from 7 December 2018 to 24 March 2019. All 60 junior suites and suites are south facing, offering breathtaking views over Lake St. Moritz and the mountains. Both restaurants, Restaurant Romanoff and Da Vittorio — St. Moritz, guarantee culinary excellence and an authentic and informal fine dining experience. For a light lunch or afternoon tea, the spacious sun terrace — undoubtedly the resort’s finest — is the place to be. The Carlton Spa also offers countless opportunities to relax and unwind.

St. Moritz is a small village in the Swiss Alps, known as the birthplace of winter tourism. Each winter it attracts guests from all over the world, with a variety of activities such as skiing and bob sledding and famous events including the White Turf horse races and the Snow Polo World Cup. The Carlton Hotel is situated at the edge of St. Moritz in the sunniest spot. Its landmark historic character shapes the hotel, originally built in 1913.

A complete refurbishment finished in 2007 not only preserved the exterior of the hotel, but also brought the historical values to the fore, adding a modern, contemporary reinterpretation that combines the new with the traditional.

The hotel’s spa facilities extend over 1,200 daylight flooded sq metres and three floors, featuring six different treatment rooms where guests can enjoy a multitude of massages and treatments. A 35 sq metre spa suite — with its own whirlpool, sauna and Dornbracht-Rainsky shower — offers a wellness experience in complete privacy. Located on the lowermost floor is the spacious sauna area with steam bath, caldarium, Finnish sauna and a separate ladies’ sauna. To cool off after an invigorating session, there are a whole range of different hydromassage showers, an ice fountain, and a Kneipp trail in the snow. Besides offering the very latest in fitness equipment, the hotel also has a large swimming pool, designed to boost physical fitness. A highlight is an interconnecting indoor and outdoor relaxation pool, which is the perfect place to unwind.
