Four Seasons Hotel Tunis is located just a short drive from the ancient Roman ruins of Carthage and the traditional village of Sidi Bou Said. Contemporary Arabesque architecture and design details, including mashrabiya latticework screens, reflect both the hotel’s proximity to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and its easy access to the historic city.

With 203 guest rooms, including 35 suites, most of the accommodation comes with a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea from either a terrace or a balcony. The hotel’s most prestigious accommodation — the three Mediterranean Suites — are equally appealing; each has a large living and dining area serviced by a butler’s pantry, a private office, and sumptuous master bedroom, which opens on to a furnished terrace — the perfect spot to relax with a drink before dinner. For an extra slice of luxury, opt for the Presidential Suite, with its enormous tiered terrace and private pool.

With five dining options, guests are spoilt for choice, beginning with The Creek, Bistro Chic Restaurant & Lounge on the top floor, where Mediterranean coastal cuisine featuring fresh produce is served each evening. At Blu Bar & Grill guests are presented with a menu of fresh fish and seafood in a casual al fresco setting. Azur offers an international menu served from dawn until late evening. Salon Alyssa, which includes indoor and terrace seating, is the ideal setting for light refreshments in a chic and cosy atmosphere. Or guests wanting to opt for more privacy can enjoy a full menu with the hotel’s in-room dining service.

Inspired by the city’s Roman heritage, guests can relax at The Spa, where the prestigious Houses of Guerlain and Maison d’Asa have exclusively designed the treatments, with its 11 treatment rooms including a spa suite, sauna and hammam.

The striking indoor/outdoor lap pool is surrounded by columns and shimmers with mosaic tiles, while the outdoor pool has a bar so guests can enjoy a cocktail.

For families, there’s a Kids for All Seasons programme in its own space — including a splash pool — plus a Teen Centre for young adults.
