Hallstatt Hideaway is a private, adults-only resort based in the historic town of Hallstatt — in Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut, a UNESCO World Heritage region in central Austria. The location on Hallstatt Lake is the perfect place for travellers to relax and unwind. Boat trips on the lake can be organised and the Dachstein West Ski Area is located just 10 miles from the Hallstatt Hideaway.

The resort comprises five suites — individual living spaces privately accessed with a shopping service that can be arranged in order to provide everything needed for a stay.

Luxury Suite SEE is bright and elegant. Gaze out of the floor-to-ceiling window onto the lake and mountain from the four-poster double bed. This suite combines modern elegance and perks like the walk-in rain shower and a private sauna, just a short stroll away.

A two-storey suite facing both the mountains and the lake, Penthouse Suite SALZ has a large living room sofa offering panoramic views of Hallstatt. Start the day with breakfast on one of the two spacious terraces and later on, enjoy a glass of champagne and the spectacular view from the private outdoor whirlpool bath. The marble bathroom has a hot tub made for two, while the large living area with kitchenette contains everything needed to create a home-cooked meal.

For those wanting even more space, the Royal Suite WALD offers a generously sized living area and modern design with classic elements, such as the stucco ceilings. From the four-poster bed, the expansive views over the lake are a treat.

The private luxury Deluxe Suite HOLZ, with its original restored baroque doors and historic ceilings, is a rustic, hut-like room that radiates warmth and traditional alpine ambiance. Dating back over 500 years, this part of the house stood alone until Maria Theresa, Emporer of Austria, united it with another smaller property.

Pearwood furniture, Douglas fir floors and rocking chairs provide the perfect spot in which to relax by the fireplace and read one of the many books from the Perspektive of the House.
