Banyan Tree Spa Sanctuary is an intimate enclave of 12 exclusive villas nestled on the fringe of restful lagoons and Phuket’s Cherngtalay beach. The resort’s Sanctuary Wellbeing programme focuses on improving overall health through a multitude of activities that are inspired by nature. The programme offers a fully customisable wellbeing experience, blending life-enriching activities, indulgent spa treatments and cultural insights in one holistic holiday experience.

Guests enjoy the freedom to select from around 50 different wellbeing activities each week. Each activity is designed to elevate body awareness, attain optimal fitness, raise mindful practices and enrich daily living. Guests will learn how simple adjustments can lead to impactful changes in their overall lifestyle and wellbeing. A team of accredited wellbeing hosts are also on hand to provide guidance or advice to those who need recommendations to design a unique itinerary.

Individuals with a defined objective can select one of four curated programmes that are customisable to specific preference. New wellbeing guides help individuals explore the various components of holistic living so they can continue to practise it after their holiday.

Balanced fitness uses stretching and workout sessions to build strength while improving the overall physique.

Mindful awareness pursues inner balance through a more meditative focus, letting stress melt away through refined breathing techniques and massage treatments.

Sanctuary wellbeing offers intimate cultural activities providing a unique insight to the local culture and Thai health practices. These activities, which are interspersed throughout the weekly calendar, include heart-thumping Thai boxing and the transcending act of almsgiving.

Guests can also enjoy interactive cooking class with graduates of Seedlings, Banyan Tree’s social enterprise programme. They can recreate Thai dishes and enjoy these creations over lunch with the chef. This interactive activity allows guests to connect with the local community and learn about the joys of giving and receiving.
