Fontsanta Hotel

Fontsanta Hotel is a five-star hotel located on the beach of Es Trenc, a haven of natural beauty in the south of Majorca, near the Ses Salines wetlands. Beyond the idyllic location, the hotel’s spa offers the only natural thermal waters on the island.

First discovered and enjoyed by the ancient Romans, Fontsanta Hotel’s spring waters are legendary. In 1845, the first building to house the thermal baths was inaugurated — an almost exact recreation of the original springs. In 1916, the public baths were bought by Cosme Maria Oliver. Since then, ownership has passed to the Cosmet family. Faithful to the spirit of continuous improvement, Fontsanta Hotel opened its doors in 2012 as an establishment that combines all the mod cons of an exclusive, luxury hotel with traditional Majorcan style — a place in which guests are able to enjoy and benefit from the famous spring waters.

These waters emerge from underground and, as they rise in shallow aquifers, acquire mineral elements in a form that would be almost impossible to reproduce artificially.

The thermal spa features a selection of treatments and wellness programmes: holistic, ayurvedic, detox, anti-ageing, rejuvenating and beautifying — all with the express purpose of renewing mind, body and soul.

The design of the Fonsanta Hotel combines traditional as well as modern decor, with hardwood floors complemented by light colours to encourage relaxation, as well as to prolong the wonderful sensations created by the thermal spa.

Complementing all of this is the delicious cuisine at the Fontsanta Hotel Restaurant, which is run by our dedicated and professional team. Here, culinary art combines with the finest natural, locally-sourced ingredients to delicious effect.

Activities on offer include watersports, cycling, golf, horse-riding, stand-up paddleboarding and birdwatching, while hiking excursions give guests the chance to discover the impressive natural landscape of this popular Balearic island.

During their stay, guests are encouraged to check out the Torre de Canyamel hotel group’s other properties on the island.
