Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden

A member of Leading Hotels of the World, Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden is situated in the quiet and beautiful north of Tenerife, with stunning views of the Orotava Valley.

Set in its own private garden, the award-winning spa features cool, calming Thai-inspired interiors, flooded in natural light and looking out onto rolling hills. Spa therapies revolve around indoor and outdoor thermal circuits; inside, guests can meander from an Oriental laconium (dry heat room) and Japanese sauna to the aromatherapy room and Turkish bath, before blasting circulation with a dip in the breathtaking ice temple. There are 20 therapy cabins, plus a private couples’ suite, for everything from massages, facials and body treatments to manicures, pedicures, acupuncture and nutritional consultations. Thai massage is performed in a traditional Asian-style pagoda in the shady gardens.

Beyond the spa, there’s the chance to relax in a whirlpool built into a cave, and an outdoor hot tub. There’s a hair salon and solarium, gym and a fitness room for yoga and tai chi.

A range of wellness and fitness programmes entice guests to get the most out of their experience, while a range of healthy dishes are on offer at the selection of restaurants, from catch of the day overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Italian cuisine on the terrace, to Spanish delicacies amid the striking Andalucian-inspired interiors of La Parilla.

Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden has received several awards: named Best Hotel in the World 2015/2016 by Thomas Cook and Best Spa-Hotel in Europe by Condé Nast Johansens in 2015 and 2017, among many others.

Only 20 minutes from La Laguna and overlooking the Mount Teide, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, guest rooms and suites are equipped with the latest amenities, including soundproofing systems, as well as balconies and Italian marble bathrooms. For a dose of grandeur, guests can stay at the Bill Clinton suite for 580sq metres of luxury with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Mount Teide and the Orotava Valley. As little as 10 minutes away is Loro Parque, named the Best Zoo worldwide in the TripAdvisor´s 2017 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
