Stoke Park Country Club, Spa & Hotel is set on a 1,000-year-old estate comprising 300 sweeping acres of glorious parkland, lakes, historic gardens and monuments. Despite this idyllic natural location, Stoke Park is just 35 minutes from London and seven miles from Heathrow.

Becoming Britain’s first country club when it opened in 1908, Stoke Park soon established itself as a byword for heritage-rich modern luxury. Today, some of the finest sporting and leisure facilities in the world can be enjoyed here. With 49 luxurious bedrooms and suites, guests have plenty of choice when it comes to accommodation.

Stoke Park’s spa is situated in The Pavilion, which also houses 28 contemporary luxury bedrooms that are ideal for guests seeking a complete spa retreat experience. The Pavilion includes 11 treatment rooms, indoor swimming pool, Italian marble steam rooms, relaxation room, outdoor hot tub and a Scandinavian sauna. To help keep guests looking as good as they feel after their treatments, there’s also a nail bar and boutique.

Elsewhere, the 13 multi-surface tennis courts (including six Wimbledon-spec grass courts) are guaranteed to appeal to guests who are passionate about sport, while the exercise and fitness provision includes personal training, a state-of-the-art gym and 60 weekly studio classes, including hot yoga, high-intensity interval training and spinning.

Stoke Park prides itself on offering luxury treatments that seduce guests away from their everyday hectic lifestyles into a world of tranquil escapism. Thalgo treatments harness the riches of the sea for a healing, revitalising and rebalancing effect.

Treatments using Aromatherapy Associates products employ the health-giving and regenerating power of essential oils.

Guests can sample elegant creations at the 3 AA Rosette Humphry’s Fine Dining Restaurant or enjoy more informal meals at San Marco Italian brasserie, which has extensive kids’ menus and offers al fresco dining during warmer climates.
