An art deco gem in the heart of Prague, the Art Deco Imperial Hotel caters to guests who prefer the intimacy and bespoke styling of a boutique hotel to the bustle and formality of a big-brand establishment.

Combining the latest technology and modern comfort with fabulous original art deco and art nouveau interiors, Art Deco Imperial Hotel offers 126 elegant guest rooms and suites. Highlights include marble bathrooms stocked with luxury toiletries; conference facilities; the famous Café Imperial; and the Fitness & Wellness Centre. The hotel also offers limousine and concierge services.

Located within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Art Deco Imperial Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the city — whether guests have come to the Czech capital for business, sightseeing in the picturesque Old Town, shopping, or to explore Prague’s famous nightlife.

Dating from 1914, the timeless elegance of the Art Deco Imperial Hotel has been admired by generations of loyal guests. The building actually combines three architectural styles — art deco, art nouveau and cubism — and is listed as a Czech National Monument.

Café Imperial has been arguably the most famous and most popular grand coffee house and restaurant in Prague for more than a century. Over the years, the likes of writer Franz Kafka and composer Leos Janacek have been among the eminent guests to have frequented the Café Imperial. The interior has art nouveau wall tiling and a mosaic ceiling, as well as large windows looking out onto the street.

The menu centres on traditional Czech cuisine with a modern twist, complemented by international flourishes. Among the signature dishes are braised veal cheeks, braised shank of lamb or the legendary Imperial cake. All food is homemade and prepared from the finest ingredients. Imperial is currently the home kitchen of celebrity chef Zdeněk Pohlreich, who hosts a weekly show on national television.

The Art Deco Imperial Hotel offers an unforgettable atmosphere with a classic touch of the early 20th century.
