Masseria della Volpe is a luxury resort that’s only open during the summer. Located in the heart of the Val di Noto in Sicily, between the Hyblaean Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, the Masseria della Volpe is an expression of timeless charm. Historically used for growing and harvesting olives and citrus fruits, this old manor farm, which was built in the late 19th century, has been skilfully restored and is now a sophisticated hotel that combines the past and the present. Surrounded by colourful citrus groves as well as an orchard of olive and carob trees, facilities at the resort include a heated swimming pool, a fine restaurant, a comfortable wellness centre, and various sports facilities. The characteristic setting and innovative style of the numerous services offered make the Masseria della Volpe a unique destination, somewhere perfect for an elegant and exclusive break.

Carefully designed to offer maximum comfort, the rooms at Masseria della Volpe are light and airy, and some have a terrace or balcony. The Luxury Suites have two bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms, and a large living room with elegant furniture and artworks. The Royal Family Suite, meanwhile, has three large bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, private roof terrace and second terrace on the ground floor overlooking the pool. Finally, there’s also an apartment, which has a living room with TV, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, washing machine, private garden and patio.

The hotel also has a wellness centre with a hydromassage tub, hamman, water cascades and an ice fountain. Traditional Eastern and Western massages, as well as a range of beauty treatments, can be booked by guests.

Ristorante Codarossa has an indoor dining room and a panoramic terrace, open in summer and spring, with views over the pool and valley. The restaurant serves local and regional dishes, accompanied by a large selection of Italian and world wines. For breakfast, guests can choose from a range of breads and homemade marmalades, pastries and cakes, yoghurt and ricotta cheese, cured meats, cheeses and juice.
