Terms & Conditions

There is one prize consisting of two places on a 14-night TUI Tours Costa Rica Discovery Tour departing on 13th January 2020.

The prize consists of: a 14-night TUI Tours Costa Rica Discovery Tour for two passengers, in accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis with an additional four lunches and three dinners. Flights depart from London Gatwick, as well as in resort transfers and a luggage allowance of 20kg per person. The holiday is departing on 13th January 2020.

The prize does not include: travel insurance; the cost of any passports, visas, or travel documentation required for the prize winner to travel to Costa Rica; airport transfers between the prize winner’s home and the departure airport; personal spending money; tips; or any food, drink or activities not mentioned in the prize description. Any additional costs and expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

It is the winner’s responsibility to check all visa and passport requirements are fulfilled and that they are available for travel on the departure date. Booking terms and conditions apply to the holiday; see here for details. 

The prize is subject to availability, non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative. No purchase necessary for entry. No alternative will be offered. In the event of cancellation by the winner, for whatever reason, no alternative prize will be given. The promoter retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.

Eligibility: This competition is open to anyone resident in the UK or the Channel Islands, who is eighteen (18) years of age or older. The competition is not open to employees and immediate family (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) of APL Media Limited, TUI, or anyone connected with the administration of the competition.

How to Enter: To enter you will need to provide your name and a valid email address to the Promoter.  No entries from agents or third parties or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Incomplete or corrupted entries will not be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

Dates: The competition commences at 00:01 BST on 6th June 2019 and closes at 23:59 BST on 31st July 2019. All entries must be received by 23:59 on the 31st July 2019.

Receipt of Entries: The Promoter cannot be held responsible for network, computer or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. The Promoter is not responsible for entries not received and/or any lost entries.

Selection of winners: The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.

Notification: The winner will be notified by email after the 31st July 2019 with instructions on how to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or is unable to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to choose another winner from eligible entries received.

Winner(s) details: Details of the winner name and country of residence, will be obtainable after the 31st July 2019 by writing to Wigmore House, Wigmore Lane, Luton, LU2 9TN. The winner may be required to participate in post-competition publicity. 

General: The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition in exceptional circumstances. All entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the Promoter reserves the right to exclude entrants for any breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
