Here’s a taste of what we’ll be looking at…
Exploring through food
Malaysia is a dream destination for food-lovers, with a whole world of flavours to explore. The country’s incredible diversity is reflected in its cuisine: Thai, Chinese, Indonesian and Indian influences come together in an array of dishes, from nasi lemak and grilled fish to roti canai and bone broth.
In the wild
Huge swathes of Malaysia are covered in untouched, ancient rainforest, supporting a vast range of species, while the jungles of Borneo are home to orangutans, tigers, sun bears, clouded leopards and Borneo elephants. There are multiple national and state parks, nature reserves and conservation areas to discover.
Time to relax
Malaysia is made up of hundreds of islands and boasts some of the planet’s most beautiful beaches. There’s world-class diving and snorkelling on offer, too. If you need some time out to regroup, this is the perfect destination.
On an adventure
If you’re looking for a little more excitement, there’s plenty on offer throughout the country. Adventurous activities include hiking in the rainforests of Taman Negara National Park in Borneo, whitewater rafting in the Kampar River in Perak, diving off the coast of Redang Island, parasailing in Langkawi and mountain biking in the Crocker Range.
