The panel

Fiona Tapp: Fiona Tapp is a British travel writer living in Canada. Her work has appeared in Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times and many more. She’s travelled to more than 30 countries across six continents and loves writing about her adventures. 

Isabella Noble: the English-Australian travel journalist was brought up in southern Spain, and has been wandering the globe since her first round-the-world trip as a one-year-old. Having grown up in an Andalucian village, she’s a Spain specialist and the author of Lonely Planet's Pocket Ibiza & Formentera guide. Isabella also writes about India, Thailand, Greece, the UK, Australia and beyond for Lonely Planet, The Telegraph, The Guardian, GeoPlaneta, Condé Nast Traveller, Ink magazines, British Airways’ High Life and others.

Maya Boyd: Maya Boyd is a widely published travel writer and the author of Ibiza Bohemia, published by Assouline. She has lived in Ibiza on and off for many years and writes about the Balearics for titles including Conde Nast Traveller, House & Garden and The Telegraph. Maya is the founder of Ibiza Insights, a historical and cultural forum dedicated to honouring the traditions and heritage of Ibiza and Formentera, and also Casagaía, an Ibiza-inspired textiles and accessories line. She lives between San Carlos, Ibiza and Midhurst, West Sussex, with her husband James and their three children.

Jessica Vincent: Jessica is a multi-award-winning travel journalist whose work has appeared in BBC Travel, CNN, National Geographic Traveller (UK), The Independent and many more. She’s the current Global Travel Media Alliance Global Travel Writer of the Year and has been nominated for several travel journalism awards in 2022. Jessica is also the founding editor of The Best British Travel Writing of the 21st Century, a new travel anthology. 

Connor McGovern (moderator): Connor is the commissioning editor of National Geographic Traveller (UK) and has long had a love of the Balearics. His most recent trip was to Menorca last year, exploring the island's prehistoric Talaiotic heritage, blissful beaches and, dutifully, its gin scene, too.
