Bald Eagles' Food Fight Captured In Slow-Motion

The struggle between youths and adults is ages long. But these bald eagles aren’t fighting it out because of that. They’re scrapping over feeding spots and food. Juvenile bald eagles lack the iconic colouration adults have and females are usually larger than males.

In scenes like these, males wait their turn to sneak in and grab a bite while females have first dibs. Photographer Christians Sasse filmed this large group of eagles in the town of Dutch Harbor, in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
