Every Night, This Dog Waits in Vain for the Same Train Car
On a Mumbai train station platform, a dog looked like she was waiting for a passenger. But when no one left the train, she chased after it. Sameer Thorat, who uses the station on his commute, saw the scene repeated every night at around 11 p.m. The dog always waited by a car reserved for women passengers.
Thorat wondered if the dog was abandoned. He posted footage online, but couldn't find an owner. Other commuters did find the dog’s litter of four pups near the station. It's still a mystery exactly who this dog is waiting for, but over time other dogs have kept similar vigils for lost owners for years.
