Opened in March 2015, Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is the only part-private, part-community-owned lodge in Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park.

The lodge commands spectacular views over 237,200 acres of Big Five territory and an active water hole.

Up to 36 guests are accommodated in either honeymoon bush villas, featuring private plunge pools; luxury bush villas, with a lounge area, fireplace and private decks; or safari rooms (ideal for families with young children).

Twice-daily game drives are conducted in the park, which is home to white rhinos. Guided bush walks are a highlight. The spa offers breathtaking views and a wide range of treatments. An 11-metre infinity lap pool with viewing deck is an ideal spot to relax after a safari drive.

Breakfast and high tea are served in the dining room or on the deck, and dinners are held the boma (traditional structure) or dining room.
