"Sometimes you need to get off the road to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Coast Highway. I've been to this highway many times for its unbeatable view. There is no place to park, so my friend dropped me off. The marine fog quickly merged with the cliff after sunset, and I was lucky enough to capture this shot. I love California!"

Your Shot photographer Jiawei L. documented this scene of the Pacific Coast Highway in California. She writes, "The mountains on the ocean are Santa Cruz Island and Anacapa Island, which belong to Channel Islands National Park. It was unbelievable that I can see such a gorgeous sunset on Monday!"

“A starry night at Yolo County, California. This tree is the only one left in the farm, and rarely anybody ever visit this farm. For me, it can't be better to stay there for a couple hours without any electronics,” writes Your Shot photographer Jiawei L. “I enjoy every second I spend under this stunning night sky that many people haven't seen before, and I'd love to share my night photos and motivate people to go outside and look up the stars. This spot became one of the most often visited places I've ever been during my college years.”
