The Treaty of Versailles at 100

On June 28 1919, The Treaty of Versailles was signed in France marking the formal end of the hostilities of World War One. Many believe the resulting reparations and economic hardship that ensured in Germany gave rise to the Nazis – and indirectly triggered World War Two.
