Rare Moose Triplets Spotted in Canada
This is an extremely rare sighting of moose triplets. National Geographic Explorer Rolf Peterson has seen triplets once and in a remote camera photograph but locals from Alberta, Canada, saw these three outside their house in Didsbury.
Triplets are rare, but twins are more common. The chances a cow moose will have a multiple birth increase if it is well-nourished and safe during pregnancy. In encounters like these, it’s very important to keep your distance from a mother moose and her calves.
